WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR?

Posted By on December 27, 2011

Whether we live, we live unto..” —Romans 14:8

We live unto WHAT???  What are you living for? What is the tendency of your life?

How would you complete that sentence? We live unto __________.”  Is it money? Pleasure? Comfort? Career? Popularity? Family?  While these things are not sinful in themselves, they should not define our life.

Paul completed this statement saying, Whether we live, we live UNTO THE LORD.” He sought the Lord in all his pursuits. When he was confronted by a new circumstance, his first consideration was— “Where is Christ in all this?”

As Paul said in Colossians 3:4, Christ, who is our life.” Paul summed up his life by simply saying, For me to live IS CHRIST  (Phil. 1:21).

Can you fill in the blank:  For me to live is __________.”

  1. for me to live? I’m now at the age that for me to live is peace and happiness and I know that that only comes thru our Lord Jesus Christ….That simply means I can let others know about Christ thru my witnessing whether it be verbal or deeds, that Our Lord may be glorified.
