YOU IN PARTICULAR

Ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. —1 Corinthians 12:27

God made you unique. No one else is exactly like you. As a Christian, God has placed you into the body of Christ “in particular.” You hold a particular position and perform a particular role. God wants you as you, and not as somebody else.

He wants to mean something to you that He can’t mean to anyone else. You mean something to Him that I don’t, and I mean something to Him that you don’t. Correspondingly, He wants to be something to you that He can’t be to me. And He wants to be to me something that He can’t be to anyone else.

If you want to get to KNOW HIM in close communion, you need to start there.
