The Real Christ

There are many fictional books and Hollywood movies that are loosely based on events in the Bible. Some people are enthralled by them, while they couldn’t care less about the Bible itself.
They’ve read The Big Fisherman by Lloyd Douglas, but they’ve never gone fishing for men. They’ve seen the movie, The Robe, but they’ve never touched the helm of His garment. They are entertained by The Greatest Story Ever Told, but they never told the story to anyone. They’ve seen Jeffrey Hunter as The King of Kings, but they’ve not crowned Christ as King of their lives.
The Lord Jesus Christ is more than a character on the pages a historical novel or movie screen. He is more that a passing fancy to be entertained by. He is the living Son of God who will be returning to the earth soon.
Be sure Christ is a living reality in your everyday life, and not merely a historical character from the pages of a book.
