GOD WON’T FORGET!

Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people… Remember me, O my God, for good. —Nehemiah 5:19; 13:31

Thank God for those precious saints who labor for God while unseen by the public eye—Those nursery workers providing child-care… Church cleaners who keep the church facility looking nice… Kitchen help who prepare church meals and clean-up afterwards… Maintenance people who make repairs on the church building and equipment… Office helpers who count offerings, input data in the computer, print and fold church bulletins, etc.

Sometimes, in when serving the Lord, you may feel you have been forgotten or are behind the scenes and not recognized. Ministry can be a life of effort that often goes unappreciated by the very people we are seeking to serve in Jesus’ name. Don’t worry—No work done for Him goes unnoticed! Even giving a cup of water to another believer is rewarded by God (Mt. 10:42).

Hebrews 6:10 says, “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” What a great and blessed promise! Our heavenly Father will never forget your labor to Him. That is infinitely more important than being applauded by the crowds.

Does the place you’re called to labor
Seem so small and little known?
It is great if God is in it,
And He’ll not forget His own. —Suffield
