Secret Gifts

A gift in secret… ?Proverbs 21:14

Recently one of my daughters received a $50 gift card from an anonymous person at our church. It was a great blessing to her, but she has no idea who to thank for it. In a case like this, all you can do is THANK GOD and ask God to bless the anonymous giver. God knows who it is.

Anonymous gifts are wonderful and completely unselfish. It shows the giver truly loves the recipient of the gift and is seeking no recognition. Gifts given anonymously reveal there is no ulterior motive, such as seeking someone’s favor.

Have you given someone an anonymous gift lately? Why not do so this week and watch God bless. Jesus said, “When thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly” (Mt. 6:3-4).
